Carfest is the brainchild of one of the country's biggest petrolheads - Chris Evans. Taking the very best elements of festivals and cars, Carfest is a fun, family-friendly event designed to raise money for Children in Need.
Split over two separate events; the North in the county of Cheshire and the South in Hampshire, Carfest raised around £1.5 million for charity in 2014. To help beat that this year, the team have enlisted the help of acts such as the Boomtown Rats, Joss Stone and Seasick Steve to create a huge 3-day music festival over both sites.
Of course, there will be a huge selection of cars too. Each event will feature a unique track sprint and a dozen different acts, with the likes of the Race Car Ten and the Funky Four taking to the sprint. Notably, this event allows you to camp over for the full weekend - making sure that you don't miss out on anything that's going on.
And with the stunt-packed showground, the muddy mega-land and the vintage village, you'd certainly need three days! Visit the Carfest site.
Concourse of Elegance
September 4th- 6th
Celebrating the rarest, most sought-after vehicles, The Concourse of Elegance is the UK's answer to the Concourse d'Elegance, the motor show which originated in France. It takes places in the scenic, yet historical surroundings of Edinburgh's Holyroodhouse and celebrates the cars which can be considered automotive art.
The event will have around 60 cars on show, though the emphasis here is definitely on quality over quantity. Every car is selected by a panel of experts to attend the event, and each strives to win the coveted 'Best of Show' award.
This will be the fourth annual Concourse of Elegance, and 2015 promises to be one of the best. This year's location in Edinburgh lends itself to a Scottish theme, and legendary driver Jackie Stewart's collection of Formula One cars will make an appearance.
The Concourse of Elegance is entirely for charity, and proceeds will be awarded between three different organisations; Walking with the Wounded, Action on Addiction, and Springfield Motor Racing's Club for Young Pain. The event has raised over £650,000 for good causes to date. To get involved, visit the Concourse of Elegance site.
September 11th - 13th
Goodwood Revival is the ultimate retro racing festival, celebrating the classic vintage vehicles which would have raced at the Goodwood circuit during its 50's and 60's heyday. One of the most popular nostalgic motoring events in the world, Goodwood go all-out to ensure that the entire event really takes you back in time - and this year is proving to be the most exciting yet.
On the racetrack, a grid-full of classic cars race throughout the weekend in classic wheel-to-wheel action. Races such as the Lavant cup will be an all-Ferrari affair, whilst the Brooklands Trophy will feature pre-1939 vehicles that hark back to the endurance races held at the iconic Brooklands circuit.
Off the track there is a chance to walk the revival high street, a fully-functional street of nostalgia. Explore a period Porsche Garage, stop and have a drink with Delonghi Coffee, and even pick up your shopping from the 1960's themed Tesco! It's also an event where people dress to impress with many wearing period dress vying for their mention in the best-dressed competition. Elsewhere theatrical sets and vintage aircraft also help set the scene. Revival really is like stepping back in time and Goodwood is the perfect place to do this.
