Stratstone were delighted to host the very first Wilmslow Car Café breakfast meet on the 20th May 2017.

With such a prestigious location, Stratstone wanted to compliment the excellent cars already being showcased with the Lightweight E-type - to the sheer delight of those attending.

Taking centre stage outside the state-of-the-art service centre, basking in the glorious sunshine, the Lightweight E-type was a stunning centre piece, surrounded by a superb selection of enthusiast owned cars, resulting in an amazing spectacle.

It was rare to see a camera not pointed in the direction of the Lightweight E-type, with photography perfectionists waiting patiently for the crowds of people surrounding the car to briefly step away, to get the perfect shot. Car enthusiasts of every car culture took time to observe this car's magnetic aura, learning about this unique car's birth and taking the rare opportunity to witness this extremely rare Jaguar.

It goes without saying that questions are always asked, when it comes to this rare piece of automotive history. A car of this calibre will always attract a crowd and those in attendance were no exception, with Stratstone team members on hand to answer the questions being put forward.

Of course, this is no ordinary E-type, so actually getting the opportunity to see one of the 'missing 6' up close and personal was a treat for those who got the chance, especially those who saw it moving at the end of the meet. The Jaguar Lightweight E-Type on the move saw a flock of car enthusiasts armed with camera phones and video cameras capturing this car's every movement, to then publish to their followers via multiple platforms of social media, to the enjoyment of car enthusiasts worldwide.
