To celebrate 50-years since being founded, Mercedes-AMG is holding a free event at Leeds dealership 17th-21st August.
Over the five days, customers will have the opportunity to test drive and explore a range of new and used AMG and AMG Class Mercedes with the VIP treatment, including arrival drinks and canapés.
Founded in 1967 by Hans Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher, Mercedes AMG originally specialised in performance developments for all Mercedes vehicles
By 1971, AMG was taking the motor racing world by storm by presenting the track with 6.8 litre ‘Red Pig’, which finished second at popular endurance race, The Total 24 Hours of Spa in Belgium.
In 2005, Damiler-Benz AG became the owner of AMG, which is now a fully owned subsidiary of German multinational automotive corporation.
The AMG range are the most distinctive Mercedes models due to their more aggressive appearance, as well as better handling and stability. With the E63 Saloon, which features breath-taking power which takes it 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds, to the 43 Series which offers more bespoke details like 5-twin-spoke alloys, there is something for everyone in the AMG collection.
Available to try will be:
Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 Coupe
Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupe
Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG
