Now in its fourth decade, the G-Class boasts the same classic lines that have always made it such a unique presence. Its large glass area features distinctively shaped load compartment windows; the side skirts, shoulder lines, roof lines and side rubbing strips are almost exactly parallel, and the high wheel arches and wide track, together with a rear that’s slightly thicker at the base, add up to a sturdy looking body with optimum off-road ability. Inside, the spacious G-Class cabin is supremely comfortable whatever the distance or weather, thanks to a 2,850 mm wheelbase, heat-insulating glass all round, and heated seats front and rear. The G-Class accommodates equipment with ease too, offering up to 2,250 litres of luggage capacity and easy access via the large side-hinged tailgate. The standard ⅓:⅔ split folding rear seat and load-securing points further enhance its versatility.
