Introducing the New BMW 4 Series

Design and Practicality
Sporting a revised exterior with a striking new headlight design, complemented by optional Laserlight rear lights, the new BMW 4 Series emits fine sophistication and sharpness with its presentation.
Complemented by a pair of new exterior paint finishes to choose from, consisting of Cape York Green metallic and Fire Red metallic, along with a variety of sought-after BMW Individual colours to specify too, the new BMW 4 Series offers much more individuality than before.
There are also two near 19-inch wheel designs in a Y-spoke design available, with a Jet Black or bi-colour finish.
M Sport and M Performance trim choice further enhance the new BMW 4 Series' dynamic and sophisticated character.
Technology and Safety
BMW's curved infotainment screen has been enhanced with the latest BMW iDrive Operating System 8.5, which includes an optional augmented display for the satellite navigation.
BMW ID and MY BMW App further enhance the new 4 Series experience, which synchronise settings for the user, along with being able to check the new BMW 4 Series' status at any time.
Safety has also been enhanced, with Lane Departure Warning with lane return, front collision warning system with brake intervention and Cruise Control with brake function all coming as standard.
There is also the option of various further packages such as the 'Driving Assistant Professional' pack which makes driving even easier and safer by adding Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function along with route speed control and traffic light recognition.
Engines and Performance
There are two petrol engine choices available for the new BMW 4 Series, which are available via two trim options.
These consist of an M Sport specification, which uses a four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 181bhp. This is paired with an 8-speed Sport Automatic Transmission and classic BMW rear-wheel drive. This ensures 0 to 62mph is possible in 7.5 seconds, whilst returning up to 44mpg.
Alternatively, there is also a 369bhp 6-cylinder in the form of the M440i xDrive, which has all-wheel drive, along with an 8-speed Sport Automatic Transmission.
The M440i also comes with the added benefit of 48V mild hybrid technology, for a sharper power delivery and enhanced efficiency. This results in 0 to 62mph dropping to just 4.5 seconds, whilst economy of up to 36mpg combined is possible.
With perfect 50:50 weight distribution, the new BMW 4 Series Coupé and new BMW 4 Series Convertible offer superb dynamic and agile handling, too.
