Thanks to the low centre of gravity, rigid body and direct steering, the only thing that feels more like a go-kart is a go-kart. Except go karts don’t have this much luggage space: 240 litres to be precise with a handy through loading functions. The rear spoiler automatically extends at 50mph, trapping the slipstream and converting it into improved road holding. So while the MINI Roadster is an amazingly fun car to drive, it’s also safe as houses.
