Pete Blundell, Sales Team Leader at Stratstone Land Rover Hanley, has received his runners up award for the prestigious Sales Dealer of The Year competition. Along with the award comes a week's all expenses paid holiday in Cambodia.
During 2012 the sales department had to achieve high scores in several measurements of the business including customer satisfaction, achievement of both new and used Land Rover objectives, finance penetration and a profit contribution.
The Sales Dealer of the Year is based on the Land Rover sales scorecard which measures the sales department throughout the year in various areas of the business.
| New Car Sales vs Objective
| Used Car Sales vs Objective
| Video Insights (Mystery Shop)
| Sales Dept. Contribution
| Finance Penetration (Land Rover Finance)
| Sales Satisfaction (Overall Satisfaction Q3)
The dealership over performed in all but one of the above measurements, in fact the last three physical mystery shops all scored 100% with the same Sales Executive, Paul Emery. Throughout the final six months of the year we were consistently in the top 5 places and in September moved into joint 3rd place giving us that incentive to push harder and gain second position losing out to the top slot by one point.
The presentation was made at the National History Museum during the Land Rover Conference on Friday 1st February, Pete was given an award by Chris Newitt Sales Director JLR (right) and Michelle Mone (left).
Pete and his wife will now join the other winners for a week’s holiday in Cambodia and judging by the high standard of the other Land Rover events we are sure it will be an unforgettable experience.
