Sleek. Agile. Responsive. All words that describe the Mercedes-AMG performance line of vehicles.

Driving an AMG vehicle is nothing short of breath-taking, and that's something which we think all our customers should have the chance to experience. The AMG performance tour brings the most thrilling models in the Mercedes-AMG range together for a ride and drive event like no other.

Guests were invited along to one of our two AMG Performance Centres in Leeds and Glasgow, and offered a selection of the AMG range to take out for an exclusive extended test drive. Accompanied by a specialist AMG technician, they were given the chance to push AMG vehicles to their limits in picturesque countryside, helping them to get the most out of their drive

Guests were briefed on the full capability of their chosen AMG vehicle, trying out the numerous available driving modes. They were also familiarised with the extensive features and luxurious additions which come as standard on the AMG range.

Vehicles on offer to guests included the new C63 AMG Saloon, which was given a five-star rating by Auto Express. The C63 marries an astonishing blend of performance and technology, achieving a 0-60mph time of just 4.1 seconds, and torque in excess of 650Nm. It's also a spacious and practical, boasting a 480-litre boot.

The biggest attention-grabber was the all-new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. This superbly styled coupe is the latest incarnation of a bespoke AMG performance vehicle and features an all-new 4.0 litre V8 twin turbo. Other features include a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a stunning driver-focused cabin with a plethora of standard equipment.

Other ride and drive vehicles on the day included the E63 AMG, the S63 AMG and the new GLE 63 S 4MATIC Coupe.

Each of our guests retuned with a big smile on their face, after a thoroughly enjoyable drive in some of the world's most desirable performance vehicles. Grant Cameron, Dealer Principal for Stratstone of Mercedes-Benz Glasgow said: "Following the success of the AMG tour last year, we couldn't not do it again this year!"
