Aston Martin Vantage GT8 hand-over to Shmee150
The Aston Martin Vantage GT8 is Aston Martin's most powerful V8 Vantage to date, and also the lightest Vantage model in the range.
The GT8 was created to reflect Aston Martins association with Le Mans and racing. The GT8 therefore takes inspiration from Aston Martins GTE race-car, and it doesn't take a trained eye to spot that this Aston would look right at home on a race-track, thanks to its menacing front splitter, wide arches and huge rear wing.
The GT8 houses an evocative, naturally-aspirated V8 engine producing a race-car like 440bhp, and comes with a seven-speed paddle shift or 6-speed manual transmission. What makes this particular Aston Martin even more special is the fact that it is a limited edition of only 150 - and all are sold out.
One of the lucky buyers was Tim Burton a.k.a. Shmee150. Tim is perhaps best known for his YouTube channel 'Shmee150' which follows his automotive journey. He also happens to have an impressive car collection, which now includes this rather special Aston Martin.
