On Tuesday the 10th of January, Mercedes-Benz of Leeds started the new year with a fantastic Breakfast Network Meeting, a free to attend event held in their state of the art showroom.
Local businesses were invited to have a complimentary breakfast and given the chance to network in a relaxed environment. Over 45 attendees were free to speak to as many people as they liked, as well as view the Mercedes-Benz and smart range.
Visitors also listened to an influential talk from guest speaker Tony Hallwood, Aviation Director at Leeds Bradford® Airport.
Tony revealed exciting development plans for the airport, announcing that new airlines will be flying from Leeds Bradford® in the summer, introducing links to new destinations and offering an even more brilliant choice of routes worldwide. These additional routes mean that Leeds Bradford® Airport will now fly to more than 75 destinations across 25 countries. These plans will provide fantastic new opportunities for West Yorkshire, enabling them to do more business with the rest of the world.
Tony also unveiled plans to build a new rail link, which will offer a shuttle bus service, transporting passengers to the airport. Whether flying for business or leisure, this will provide an even better and more convenient experience for passengers flying through Leeds Bradford® Airport.
Some great merchandise and prizes were also very kindly donated by local businesses; NatWest Bank, Leeds Bradford® Airport, Children's Heart Society Fund, The Yorkshire Society and Multi-Care Electronics.
