Over 1000 people attended former-international Yorkshire Cricketer Ryan Sidebottom's testimonial match.
After 20 distinguished years on the cricketing circuit, Ryan has hosted several matches in celebration of his retirement. Most recently at his local village club, Thorp Arch & Boston Spa Cricket Club, where he is Club Ambassador. MINI of Harrogate saw the fantastic opportunity to support the local cricket team, as well as joining Ryan Sidebottom on his celebration. The Harrogate retail centre showcased the MINI Cooper Convertible alongside the Black Pack Clubman, which is only available for a limited period and certainly makes for a dramatic entrance.
The MINI Cooper Convertible's show stopping style was enough to rake in the crowds at the TABS Cricket Club. Members of the public could get up close and personal with the elegant interior and experience the funky, full electric, roof. The Black Pack Clubman sat beside the Convertible and is one of the most memorable models in the MINI range, with glossy 17 inch Black Spoke Alloys, Bonnet Stripes and Piano Black interior.
It was an incredible atmosphere at the match, with many visitors saying how much they enjoyed seeing Ryan back in his home village. To add a unique slant to the match, Ryan competed against his local club with a star-studded line-up. Players on the team included; Paul Collingwood, former England Captain, Colson J Smith from Coronation Street, Harry Graiton from the local BBC News and Chris Hughes from Love Island.
