The Royal Berkshire Shooting School Ultimate Pair is well underway for 2016 - and the leaderboard is already shaping up.

The Ultimate Pair, sponsored by Stratstone, is an evolution of the Stratstone Ultimate One and offers the biggest prizes in the history of Clay Shooting. Last year's victor, Mark Winser, became the proud owner of a Range Rover Autobiography courtesy of Stratstone of Mayfair.

Each entrant attempts to reach the highest score possible out of 100 with two attempts at the 25 bird challenge. The 20 highest scorers from this event will go through to the final, and if the winner manages to shoot 23 'birds' or more of the 25 during  the final round, they are eligible for the final prize of a Range Rover Sport Autobiography or a pair of custom hand built Browning B25 shotguns.

Each qualifying week an entrant is selected with the highest overall score, who is then guaranteed a place in a shoot-off to win a vintage steel Rolex GMT II automatic bracelet watch worth over £5,000, courtesy of David Duggan Watches.

The Ultimate Pair, which runs from October 5th to January 30th 2016, has already seen 90 entries since the start of October, and a high score of 22/25 which already far surpasses the standard set from entries last year. The competition is hotting up, so enter now to be in with your chance of scoping the largest prize in Clay Shooting! The competition is open to all.

Stratstone of Mayfair's David Stones, added: "Our long standing relationship with the Royal Berkshire Shooting School has been incredibly successful and we are delighted to be supporting this huge event for the third consecutive year. By launching the Ultimate Pair, we are proud to be working alongside one of the world's finest makers of guns - Browning. We wish all competitors the best of luck."
