Stratstone Porsche Hosts Luxury Weekend at Le Mans

14th Jun 2017

Helicopter rides, champagne receptions and VIP access at one of the world's most famous races in motorsport as part of the luxury package at Stratstone Porsche's Le Mans Experience 2017.

The Le Mans endurance race is the oldest sports car race in the world and this year is its 85th anniversary. Organised by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), the circuit contains a mix of public roads and specialist motor racing circuits. The 24-hour race on Le Mans' roads is the ultimate endurance test for competing drivers, and their cars.

Porsche customers are invited to enjoy luxury hospitality at the gorgeous Chateau Des Aprentis in the peaceful village of Saint-Regle, during Stratstone's Le Mans Experience 2017.

Stratstone will be serving Porsche customers from beginning to end on this fantastic weekend at Le Mans. From delicious dinners organised in the heart of Amboise, to day trips and plenty of free time, the Le Mans Experience 2017 with Stratstone involves so much more alongside the race itself.

On Thursday 15th June, Stratstone will meet guests in Calais and drive in convoy to Amboise where they will check-in and enjoy a champagne reception before being picked up for dinner in the heart of the city.

After breakfast on Friday, guests will be driven to a beautiful wine cave, 'Cave De Vouvray' to sample some delicious wines from the Loire regions followed by a visit to the beautiful Hotel Le Fleuray in Cangey for lunch. During the evening, there is time for a wander around the beautiful city of Ambroise.

Saturday gets off to a flying start with an incredible helicopter ride from the hotel ground to the Le Mans circuit at 10:30am. On arrival, guests will be given their tickets and a picnic lunch hamper to enjoy at their leisure.

Just before entering the le mans circuit, a must-visit attraction for car enthusiasts is planned at the Musee des 24 Heures-Circuit de le Sarthe. The museum holds over 120 cars, including past race cars from Bugatti, Ferrari and of course Porsche.

Guests can then enjoy the race from 3pm, with a dinner reservation at the incredible 'Welcome Panoramic Restaurant' at 7pm, which overlooks the circuit and provides perfect viewing for the race.

Sunday will be a relaxing day, with the option to watch the end of the race if desired. There will be a post-race celebration with a farewell BBQ at the Chateau at 7pm.
