Stratstone Were Delighted to Host Magnus Walker

09th Jun 2017

Sunday 4th June 2017,  Magnus Walker, Porsche  Icon, delights many fans and enthusiasts with a visit to our Wolverhampton Porsche Centre , as part of his 'Urban Outlaw' book signing tour.

Fans were welcomed to the state of the art Porsche centre to talk all things Porsche with Magus, who also took part in a Q and A session too. Guests started arriving before 2pm and soon turned the car park into a Porsche enthusiasts dream, with Porsche models from every generation whether it be new or old, standard or modified collectively turning the car park into an awesome spectacle of Stuttgart's finest.

An array of classic Porsche including various RS models, 356 and more modern 911's filled the car park, along with 993 911's, 997 911's and also a selection of Porsche 944 models. These were all either immaculate standard examples, or striking modified examples - perhaps taking inspiration from Magnus' nature to customise these fine German sports cars.

The showroom even included 'The Ghost Outlaw' - dubbed a 'Rural Outlaw 911', which is an '84 Carrera Sport 3.2 modified in the style of a Magnus Walker creation, sporting a black paint finish with distinct red bumpers and various outlaw details.

Of course, non-Porsche owners also took part in this special event, showing how Magnus' magnetic character interests car enthusiasts of all genres. This was evident by the striking array of non-Porsche performance cars which joined in the array of fine automobiles at Porsche Centre Wolverhampton, which included an Austin Yellow BMW M4, a striking green Audi RS6 as well as a classic Ford Mustang to name but a few.

Fans could  buy his autobiography 'Urban Outlaw - Dirt Don't Slow You Down'  and wait in line to get the man himself to sign it, along with other Porsche related items fans had brought with them - such as Hot Wheels cars, number plates and anything Porsche or car related. Magnus, being the down to earth guy that he is, made time for everyone, sharing stories of his passion for Porsche and reminiscing of his unique approach to life which has seen him become an automotive Porsche icon.

Fans were mesmerised by Magnus sharing parts of his story in the Q and A session, and finished with their own questions, ensuring a personal insight to everything Magnus Walker and everything Porsche. Young Magus fans were constantly beaming, with huge grins on their faces, along with Magnus' adult fans who also were seen grinning ear to ear. A puppy, unsurprisingly called 'Porsche' also gained a few 'fans' on the day too.

"It was a pleasure to welcome Magnus Walker to the centre at the weekend, as well as the many Porsche enthusiasts who turned out to see him. It was a great opportunity for like-minded individuals to come together, meet Magnus and find out more about his work."
