Stratstone has a rich heritage at Shelsley Walsh, our founder Ernest Instone won the first-ever race on the speed hill climb course in 1905 in his 35 hp Daimler.
Shelsley Walsh is an iconic motoring venue; it's the oldest hill climb course in the world that is still in continuous use.
Set in the idyllic Worcestershire countryside, Stratstone Venues offer a unique event space set in our own private grounds located next to the start line of the famous hill climb.
The Old Rectory features two Grade II listed cottages with a substantial driveway, courtyard and large enclosed garden - all set in the beautiful valley of Shelsley Walsh and with separate access from the hill climb venue.
The distinctive and individual space is available for hire and we can accommodate,
- Drinks receptions
- Private dinners
- Product launches
We can provide all catering, bar and staffing needs, and we work with each of our clients to deliver a perfect event in sumptuous surroundings.
