Le Mans Classic is a biannual event which celebrates the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours race. As the 24-Hour race is so illustrious it is a chance to relive some of the historic drama and atmosphere over a three-day period in July this year. But what can you expect, find out below.


Le Mans Classic is held on Friday 6th July, Saturday 7th July and Sunday 8th July. It opens on the Friday at 9am and runs through to 2am Saturday morning. It will then reopen from 8am Saturday and carry on all the way through to Sunday at 6pm.

Track Action

Various practice sessions will happen on the Friday with a total of 18 races happening over the weekend, on Saturday and Sunday.

Group C Le Mans racers will also take to the track. Group C was a legendary era of endurance racers that occurred in the '80s and '90s and saw speeds of circa 250mph along the Mulsanne straight from monstrous race cars such as the Porsche 956 and Mazda 787B.

Club parades will also happen on the 13.6km track, with multiple renowned car clubs being represented, along with car manufacturers parading various models too.

Little Big Mans will also be happening on certain sections of the track. Mini cars replicating full-size Le Mans racers will be piloted by a number of budding young drivers, looking to make it as the future Le Mans stars.

Paddock Action

If you select an option when pre-booking, you can get up close and personal to the 400 cars that competed in Le Mans, as well as mingle with the famous drivers.

Signing Sessions

With many legendary racing drivers such as Jenson Button confirmed to be racing, there will be dedicated signing sessions to get your favourite Le Mans items signed. Clothing, scale models, posters etc. whatever you want signing to remember a great weekend of racing and Le Mans nostalgia.

An Artcurial auction will be available to view on the Friday, with the auction happening on the Saturday with many rare and seemingly priceless classic cars going under the hammer.

Club Enclosures

Over 100 car clubs will be in attendance celebrating classic and current cars, totalling over 8,000 cars. Chat to like-minded enthusiasts while witnessing the sights and sounds of classic Le Mans racing.

Le Mans Heritage Club will also be in attendance, where you can get up close and personal to a hand-picked selection of race cars that have raced at Le Mans between 1923 and 2016.

Shopping and Entertainment

With live music, drive-in cinema, food outlets and automotive retailers also on hand over the weekend, Le Mans Classic is the ultimate experience for the petrolhead, budding petrolhead or even non-enthusiast. There will also be the chance to book helicopter flights, take a classic bus ride of the circuit and or enjoy passenger laps (all needing to be pre-booked) to fully experience the magic of Le Mans Classic.
