Dealership Closure FAQ

Help and advice for Stratstone Customers

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a Service Plan, where can I get my car serviced?

All Service Plan agreements are valid at any Stratstone retailer, and we will be very happy to accommodate any of your servicing needs at another one of our locations

We also offer a collection and delivery service for servicing and MOT bookings for your convenience, and you can book your service online.

Please note: This only applies to cars, and not motorcycles. We recommend speaking to the new owners of the dealership you bought the service plan from if you have previously bought a motorcycle from Stratstone.

I need a service or repair, where should I go?

You can book your next Service or MOT online at any other Stratstone dealership in your area, no matter the make and model of your vehicle. Subject to availability, we can offer a range of additional services to make things more convenient for you, including our vehicle collection/delivery service and courtesy cars.

My car is still under manufacturer warranty, where do I go for any repairs?

For manufacturer warranty repairs, you can take your vehicle to any authorised location for each manufacturer. In many cases, we will have another franchised location in your local area who can carry out warranty repairs.

Please note: This only applies to cars, and not motorcycles. A different retailer, or the new owners of your local dealer, will be able to assist with this.

My car is on finance, will a dealership closure impact my finance agreement?

Not at all. The finance agreement is between you and the finance company, and you should continue to make your monthly payments as normal. Should your finance agreement no longer be suitable to your personal needs, and you need to discuss your options, please contact your nearest Stratstone dealership to make an appointment.

I am looking to sell my car, how do I organise this?

We are always on the lookout for quality used vehicles for our forecourts. Simply get a valuation online, and then arrange to drop it off at another local Stratstone dealership.

There is absolutely no obligation to buy another vehicle, we will not charge you any admin fees, and you could have the money direct into your bank account the next working day.

I have an ongoing concern with a dealer that's closing - who can I speak to?

Our centralised, dedicated Customer Care team are on hand to assist with an ongoing concern you may have. Please get in touch through help@stratstone.com, and we will aim to resolve things as quickly as possible for you.
