New EQA by Mercedes-EQ Offers

Sharing similarities with the GLA, the EQA is the first all-electric addition to the compact car class of the Mercedes-EQ new car range.

Badged as the EQA 250+ and EQA 350 4MATIC; the electric compact SUV features all the familiar design cues and the luxurious comfort of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, as well as the benefits of an efficient car from the Mercedes-EQ range.

The safety systems in the EQA simply enhance the overall driving experience. Whilst the intuitive technology adds to the convenience.

Hand gestures, touch or voice control can all be used as methods of interacting with the intelligent Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system. Pre-entry climate control for the interior is just one of the many functions that can be controlled directly from the MBUX system.

Driving is made simpler and safer thanks to various intelligent driving assistance systems such as Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist and a reversing camera, which are all included as standard.

Also included is Navigation with Electric Intelligence, which is a clever support function that calculates the quickest route to the desired destination based on any necessary charging breaks and even factors such as the weather.

If you use a public rapid charging station you can charge the EQA models from 10 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, about the same time it would take to call at a service station for a break from the road.

There are thousands of public charging stations located around the UK so you will never be short of one on any distance journey.

Although it is not as quick, it is super convenient to re-charge at home. There are two options, you can either charge using a domestic three-pin plug socket or a dedicated wall box. Using the wall box, charging from 10 percent to full capacity can be achieved in just under six hours.
