Zagato is a prestigious Italian design house. The company was founded in 1919 and is located in Milan, Italy. Zagato is famed for collaborating with some of the world's best known manufacturers to produce stunning limited edition vehicles.
Zagato has collaborated with Aston Martin
on quite a few occasions, which has resulted in the creation of some beautifully designed and beautifully rare Aston Martin models. Models such as the 1986 V8 Vantage, 2002 DB7 Vantage and 2011 V12 Vantage have all had the Zagato treatment. Not to mention the 1960's DB4 GT - which is now worth over £10million.
Showcased in 2016, Aston Martin and Zagato have now collaborated to create the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato. With a colossal 6.0-litre V12 engine, pushing out 600ps (592bhp) which is capable of 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and a body entirely shaped from carbon-fibre - the car not only looks incredible but is also incredibly fast.
The Zagato Vanquish features the same 'bladed' L.E.D. technology as the Aston Martin Vulcan on the rear lights, as well as door mirrors closely related to the ones found on the One-77 Aston Martin. What's more, the Zagato Vanquish will be a strictly limited edition car with 99 examples being created in five special paint colours.
Aston Martin Mayfair currently have car number 63, finished in a special Lava Red paint currently taking pride of place in their showroom.
