Stratstone BMW Partner with Harrogate RUFC

Stratstone BMW in Harrogate has served North Yorkshire faithfully for over 25 years. Providing excellent service, they have gained fantastic customer loyalty for their attention to detail and for their incredible aftersales care.
The dealership has acted as a torchbearer for sport in Harrogate for many years, sponsoring local sporting events. This became a literal reality in the run up to London 2012 when Stratstone Harrogate was chosen to carry an Olympic torch as part of the nationwide torch relay.
Continuing their investment into the Harrogate community and into sport, Stratstone are pleased to announce a new Rugby Partnership Package with Harrogate Rugby Union Football Club. As part of the sponsorship deal, Harrogate RUFC has agreed to rename their club ground, on Rudding Lane, Harrogate, the "Stratstone Stadium".
The official ceremony to announce this exciting collaboration was held on Saturday 23 September at their home game with Hull Rugby Club. The official unveiling was presided over the by club's Director and Commercial Chairman, David Doherty and Stratstone BMW Harrogate's Head of Business, Charles Shaw who cut the ribbon before the kick-off.

Before the recent match, the BMW range was showcased outside of the stadium and the Stratstone Harrogate team were on hand to answer any questions. The BMW models on show included a BMW M140i Shadow Edition, a BMW 5 Series Saloon, a BMW X1, a BMW M4 and a BMW i3.

The scheme will provide improved ground facilities, post protectors and sponsored involvement at club events including club's Annual Dinner, Derby and the Junior Festival.
Going beyond much more than the simple sponsorship of the team strip, this collaboration will support and enable further involvement from the Junior Academy into 11 local schools, providing coaching as well as technology projects.
The main thrust of the Rugby Partnership Package is to provide enjoyment for all by making sports facilities accessible to the whole community. Stratstone BMW Harrogate hopes that this deal will enable Harrogate RUFC to provide much-needed investment into the coaching and mentoring of the young people in the surrounding areas, teaching them the importance of teamwork, loyalty and respect, benefiting the community of Harrogate.
