As the largest MINI in the range, this all-new model is taller and longer than its predecessor featuring a smoother and cleaner design, along with an overhauled enhanced vibe.

Design and Practicality
The Countryman has evolved and now appears cleaner and more modern, as you would expect.
It is more rounded at the front of the car, complemented by LED headlights that are more angular than the model it replaces.
Alloy wheel designs of up to 20 inches help give the side profile a fine presentation, whilst rear detailing has been given a more rugged look thanks to lower bumper detailing.
Four individual trims and new roof colours ensure you can customise your Countryman to be as individual as you are.
Being the largest MINI in the range, the Countryman offers the largest load space with 460 litres of boot space, which increases to 1,450 litres with the rear seats folded.
Technology and Safety
In a world where digital seems to be taking over interiors, the Countryman follows suit, but in a more minimalist way.
Harking back to the original Mini, there is just one central digital screen which presents the Countryman's driving information, and which also acts as the infotainment display.
Obviously, as you would expect, its very customisable so you can display the exact information you want. There is also the possibility to have a heads up display, so if you like the idea of still having driving information in your direct line of site, the new MINI Countryman has you covered.
Safety is also state-of-the-art with multiple advanced assistance systems available including Automatic Active Cruise Control and Steering and Lane Assistant. And, for the first time ever there is even the possibility of semi-automated driving to make driving more convenient and safer.
Engines and Performance
With the shift towards electric, this is the first time the MINI Countryman will be offered as a fully-electric EV, with two power options available with either 201bhp or 309bhp.
The former can go from 0 to 62mph in 8.6 seconds, whilst the latter reduces the time to just 5.6 seconds.
The new MINI Countryman range will also feature petrol variants, along with diesel alternative too, of which more detail will be released in the near future.
The Countryman will also be offered as a front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive SUV, again offering multiple versions catering for all types of buyer.
Charging
As with many electric cars, there are multiple charging options, and this is again the case with the EV versions of the new MINI Countryman.
It is possible to charge an electric version of the new MINI Countryman from 10 to 80 percent in just under 30 minutes using a fast charging stations, whereas charging from home using a wallbox will take longer and all depend on your personal set up. Usually, an overnight charge will be sufficient.
