Thursday 16th March saw a visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Wolverhampton to Porsche Centre Wolverhampton.
It was the first time Councillor Barry Findlay and Mayoress Margaret Findlay had visited Porsche Centre Wolverhampton since the Centre opened in April 2016. Both the Mayor and Mayoress were given a tour of the showroom, as well browsing the latest Porsche range. The Mayor and Mayoress also got chance to try out the latest four cyclinder Porsche 718 Boxster S in Lava Orange.
Porsche Wolverhampton are working with Mayoress Margaret Findlay to support a local Online Charity Platform she has recently launched for the local community. Simon Priest Centre Principal of Wolverhampton stated:
“We are thrilled to be able to help work with Mayoress Margaret Findlay and support local charities in and around Wolverhampton. As a new business to the area we are keen to get involved as much as possible with local projects.”
Councillor Barry Findlay is the 158th Mayor of Wolverhampton, and was elected on 18th May 2016. Barry has served for the City of Wolverhampton Council for over 24 years, representing firstly Fallings Park and latterly Tettenhall Regis. The Mayor has also been Deputy Leader of the council.
