Design and Practicality
As the second generation version of the BMW X2, this all-new offering is more dynamic than that of the previous model, enhancing on the overall design, as well as featuring more practicality.
Enhanced style usually means practicality has been compromised, but this is not the case in this all-new BMW X2.
Significantly larger dimensions help the all-new X2's ability to offer more, even the entry-level trim is the M Sport specification, meaning the all-new X2 looks dynamic from the get go. A pronounced coupé silhouette and dynamic lines are joined by standard 20-inch alloy wheels, which all ensure the X2 looks every bit as exciting as you would expect.
A wider track helps give the car even more presence. This is further highlighted as the car is now 21mm wider, along with increasing 194mm in length and becoming 64mm taller.
Boot space has been increased by a substantial 90 litres, with 560 litres now available. Mild hybrid versions offer 515 litres.
Technology and Safety
Complementing a striking exterior, the all-new X2 has an interior full of technology and space which further impress, along with keeping occupants safe in the process.
A fully-digital set-up ensures the new BMW Operating System 9 is displayed via a curved 10.25-inch infotainment display, along with a 10.7-inch instrument cluster.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto feature, along with new BMW Digital Premium meaning customers can make use of music and video streaming, along with gaming too (gaming feature accessible when car is stationary).
Customisation is also available with multiple drive modes - Personal, Sport and Efficient, whilst BMW Digital Premium extends modes adding in - Expressive, Relax and Digital Art modes.

Engines and Performance
Engines and versions in the BMW X2 range include:
- sDrive20i M Sport
- M35i xDrive
The sDrive20i uses a 3-cylinder petrol engine, and offers 168bhp which enables the car to go from 0 to 62mph in 8.3 seconds, whilst returning up to 47mpg. This set-up features front-wheel drive.
The more powerful M35i version features a 4-cylinder petrol engine, offering 296bhp and dropping the 0 to 62mph time to just 5.4 seconds, whilst returning up to 36mpg. As the car is also xDrive, the M35i also features all-wheel drive maximising grip and enhancing performance, especially from a standing start.
Both versions come standard with a 7-speed automatic Steptronic transmission which uses a double clutch for seamless shifts.
