Introducing the new Mercedes-AMG GT
The Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé returns in this all-new second generation which is 40mm wider and 180mm longer than before. It has also been enhanced in the looks department, perfectly evolving the original GT that went before.
And you do not need to worry about performance, as this is a Mercedes-AMG created in Affalterbach meaning this is a car that will have no trouble embedding a grin on your face from ear to ear.
The new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé will be available from launch in a GT 55 version, along with an enhanced GT 63 version.
GT 55 4MATIC+
The Mercedes-AMG GT 55 4MATIC+ Coupé uses a fittingly powerful 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission, producing 469bhp enabling 0 to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds.
4MATIC+ all-wheel drive means the GT Coupé will have no problem putting its colossal power to the tarmac whatever the weather. And, if you like the idea of more play from the car when at the track, the car can even be put into a full rear-wheel drive mode too.
A digital tech-rich interior ensures life behind the wheel is as exciting as the car is to look at. With various drive modes from 'Comfort' to 'RACE', this is a car that can instantly bring the calmness and luxury of a Mercedes-Benz, or turn the wick up to eleven whenever the mood suits.
GT 63 4MATIC+
If you require your Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé to be even more incredible, then a GT 63 4MATIC+ version is also available (pictured).
Using the same hugely potent 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine and 9-speed automatic transmission, only this time enhanced to produce 577bhp the 0 to 62mph drops to just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed capable of 196mph.
The same trick 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system ensures maximum grip when you require it, whilst also being able to switch to rear-wheel drive, again as you want it.
Interiors again follow the widescreen, fully-digital vibe Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG are now accustomed to, with plenty of customisation options to configure your Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé to suit your mood, whether it is on your commute or whilst at the track.
