In May our Stratstone of Mayfair retailers supported the Quintessentially Foundation Charity Shooting event at the Englefield Estate in Berkshire. The day was organised to raise money for two incredible charities, WellChild and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Guests arrived at the estate by helicopter for breakfast in the main house followed by the morning briefing from Ben Elliot, a representative from the charity and Dylan William from the Royal Berkshire Shooting School.
The shoot was held within the estate itself where we displayed a selection of the Jaguar range
including the new F-PACE
and the iconic XJ
. A fleet of Land Rovers
were also present on the day including the Range Rover Vogue, Range Rover Sport
, which were used to chauffeur the 100 guests on the day to each shooting point.
It was a fantastic day with stunning surroundings, cars and sun. Guests included Tom Parker-Bowles a Patron of the charity and Olympic shooter Peter Wilson who won Gold at the Olympics last year for team GB in shooting.
After a pleasant morning in the grounds, guests enjoyed a champagne reception and canapes on the lawn before sitting down in the marquee for lunch followed by a charity auction and entertainment. The Trustee of the Quintessentially Foundation opened the afternoon with speeches from TV and Radio presenter Jonny Gould and Comedian Sean Collins carried out the charity auction.
A great day was had by all with a fantastic £250,000 raised for the charities involved.
