Okay, so it may have only been a Series II Jaguar E type. Even so, prices have still seen a fairly hefty rise thanks to the sheer desirability of the original. A similar example to the one on the show will set you back around the £42,000 mark today. No doubt they are still an excellent investment opportunity at that price.

If you have seen Back to the Future - and you really should have by now - then we would be willing to wager you have hankered for a DeLorean DMC-12 at some point. We were surprised Mike got one so cheap in the first place at £9,650. With dwindling numbers and the tie to the Back to the Future franchise, that £14,500 rise in value is only going one way.

If, like us, you find yourselves foraging through online car forums for some quality content on a regular basis, then you will have noticed the unconditional love for Saab. The 9-3 Turbo was, and still is, a fantastic car that has not experienced the same rise in value as other cars that feature here, making them a bargain.
