New Range Rover SV Bespoke Service Launched

A new benchmark in luxury is being introduced by Range Rover with the launch of an SV Bespoke commissioning service which gives enhanced levels of personalisation and refinement.

The service is available on Autobiography and SV models, while a set of enhancements across the line-up maintains Range Rover’s status as the world’s most desirable luxury SUV.

Range Rover is the original luxury SUV and has led by example for more than 50 years, combining serene comfort and composure with ultimate off-road capability.

Further updates to the Range Rover line-up include the latest generation Pivi Pro infotainment system, while the new plug-in electric hybrids are more powerful than before.

The Range Rover SV is also available with electric hybrid power on the long wheelbase model for the first time, while the flagship V8 now features mild hybrid technology.

A new 607bhp variant is introduced on the Range Rover SV for extra power.

SV Bespoke provides access to a range of materials and interior and exterior finishes.

Each vehicle is said to be as unique as its creator, although curated design combinations chosen by the Range Rover Design team are available to help customers make their dreams a reality.

Inside, there are up to 391 material colourways available, while the curated SV Bespoke paint palette comprises more than 230 colours in satin and gloss finishes.

Alternatively, the SV Bespoke Match to Sample paint service can replicate any exterior colour request, providing limitless scope for individuality.

Finishes are also available in a range of precious metal finishes, including 24ct gold.

Plug-in electric hybrid engines now feature a new 160kW electric motor which, when combined with the 3.0-litre 6-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine, produces 542bhp and 454bhp in the P550e and P460e respectively – up from 503bhp and 434bhp.

The technology provides improved acceleration in EV mode, reducing the time it takes to reach 62mph in pure-electric power by 5.0 seconds. Using both power sources, the P550e now has a 0 to 62mph time of 4.8 seconds, down from 5.2 seconds.

The engines are available alongside existing 6-cylinder mild hybrid petrol and diesel Ingenium engines, and provide CO2 emissions of 16g/km with a pure-electric driving range of up to 75 miles, delivering an expected real-world range of up to 59 miles.

Electric hybrid power is now available on the long wheelbase Range Rover SV for the first time, while the V8 models now use mild hybrid technology for the first time.

The MHEV system delivers increased efficiency by harvesting energy captured when decelerating and braking, and improved responses as the stored energy is redeployed under acceleration.

A twin turbo V8 MHEV petrol engine is also being introduced on the Range Rover SV, featuring an enhanced power output of 607bhp and 553lb ft of torque.

A new Country Road Assist system features for the first time on the Range Rover to enhance passenger comfort and reduce driver effort when using Adaptive Cruise Control.

The system uses navigation data to adjust the target speed automatically, taking into account bends in the road and changes to the speed limit, accelerating or decelerating the vehicle accordingly.

Following its debut in the Range Rover Sport, Dynamic Response Pro is now available across the line-up, which uses electric roll control technology to reduce body lean when cornering for a more relaxing and engaging drive.

All-terrain capability is also enhanced with the introduction of Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control, which is a feature of the advanced Terrain Response 2 system that helps drivers navigate tricky terrain by maintaining steady progress according to the ground conditions.

Drivers can select one of four comfort settings, and the system intelligently adjusts the vehicle’s speed accordingly, allowing the driver to focus solely on steering a path across tricky terrain.

The new Range Rover line-up is now priced from £103,720 in the UK.
