A facelift is being given to Mercedes-Benz’s 4-door CLA coupé and its estate car Shooting Brake sibling.
The updates also include the AMG versions – the CLA 45 and 35.
The cars get a reshaped front bumper, changes to the front and rear lamps, while the rear diffuser has also been updated. There is also an updated radiator grille.
Inside, a 7-inch and 10.25-inch display are standard, while the latest MBUX software system is used in the infotainment system.
There is also a twin-spoke AMG design steering wheel as standard.
All petrol versions now have a mild-hybrid powertrain and the line-up features 1.3-litre and 2.0-litre engines as well as 2.0-litre diesels.
Mercedes-Benz has also upgraded plug-in hybrid variants, increasing the power from the electric motor and giving the battery a larger capacity which increase EV-only range by eight miles to 51 miles while charging speeds are also improved, now taking 25 minutes to recharge to 80 percent capacity.
Prices and on-sale dates for the new models are still to be announced.
