A version of the all-electric MINI Cooper in Sport trim has been announced, with the newcomer taking its styling from the hot John Cooper Works model.
With 215bhp on tap, the Sport model has an acceleration time of 6.7 seconds and a range of up to 250 miles.
MINI says the Sport model emphasises the brand's racing history and the car comes with a JCW logo as well as a red, white, and black colour scheme with a chequered flag badge included in the grille.
The Sport has 18-inch wheels, red brake callipers, front, and rear diffusers while inside there are sports seats and red accents in the trim.
“The all-electric MINI Cooper in the new Sport trim combines a passion for iconic design, legendary performance and sustainable mobility. It is the epitome of efficiency and driving pleasure”, said Stefanie Wurst, head of the MINI brand.
The Sport specification will be available early in 2024 with prices still to be revealed.
