smart Reveals Prices and Specifications for New #3 SUV Coupé

smart is planning to shake up the UK’s electric market with the announcement that its new #3 SUV coupé will be priced from £32,950 when it arrives early in 2024.

Five trim specifications will be offered in the range comprising the entry-level Pro model followed by the Pro+ from £36,950, Premium grade from £39,950, a 25^th Anniversary Edition at £40,950 with the line-up topping out from £45,450 for sporty Brabus models.

Peak power ranges from 268bhp to 422bhp with acceleration from 5.8 to 3.7 seconds and range from 258 to 283 miles, while the Pro version with its lower powered battery can manage 202 miles on a full charge.

All versions are fitted with smart’s Pilot Assist system which includes a variety of systems such as a Highway Assistant (HWA) and Automatic Parking Assist (APA) to improve comfort and safety, to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing drivers to bring smartphone features and apps to the 12.8-inch full HD infotainment display.

Top speed of all models is 112mph with 0 to 62mph acceleration times of 5.8 seconds for all but the Brabus version which is all-wheel-drive and can manage the sprint in a brisk 3.7 seconds.

A 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster is fitted across the range, with all but the Pro version coming with a 10.25-inch head up display.

Boot space ranges from 370 to 1,160 litres, with a further 15 litres of space available in a frunk under the bonnet.
