Design and Practicality
The Audi A6 Sportback e-tron takes inspiration from the e-tron GT, and therefore features a distinct progressive presence from the front, flowing perfectly through the rest of the fine Sportback body style.
Sitting wider than most, complemented by large 20-inch twin 5 spoke alloy wheels - which can be enlarged to 21-inch on some specifications, further add to the A6 Sportback e-tron's presence.
The rear of the A6 Sportback e-tron features a first in Audi design, with the iconic Audi rings now illuminated. Owners can specify their A6 Sportback e-tron in familiar Audi trim levels, such as S Line, further enhancing looks to suit individual preference.
As for practicality, the Sportback bodystyle is synonymous with offering fine style, whilst also being practical, too. Therefore, with the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron you get a capacious 502-litre rear boot space, which increases to 1,330 litres with the rear seats folded. Furthermore, there is also a handy 27-litre frunk compartment, too.
Technology and Safety
There is lots of cutting-edge technology on offer with the new Audi A6 Sportback e-tron. Once you take your seat within the cabin, you're captivated with a digital stage consisting of a large, slim, curved panoramic display which is focused towards the driver, and contains the infotainment as well as the iconic Audi virtual cockpit plus.
Configurability is offered, to ensure your digital showcase complements the operation and ownership experience, which when teamed with the seamless refinement, fit and finish of the cabin, ensures for a fine demonstration of the perfect blend of technology and execution the A6 Sportback e-tron gives.
Plus, safety is state-of-the-art too, with augmented reality coming as part of the optional Sound and Vision pack, whilst as standard, the A6 Sportback e-tron features a Drive and Park assistance pack with surround view camera. There is also front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control and even parking assist plus, which enables remote controlled parking.
Engines and Performance
This new Audi A6 Sportback e-tron is available as a pure electric model, and makes use of an 800-volt lithium-ion battery, which is located in the underbody of the car, along with an electric motor for excellent weight distribution. This also boosts practicality, too.
When using launch control, the A6 Sportback e-tron's 362bhp is boosted to 375bhp, meaning the 0 to 62mph time takes just 5.4 seconds.
And despite the performance, the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron features fine aerodynamics, which help ensure up to 463 miles of total electric range if offered, ensuring the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron is both quick and efficient.
Charging
New Audi A6 Sportback e-tron has the ability for fast charging. This means that it is possible to charge up to 270kW (DC), meaning 10 to 80 percent charge is capable in just 21 minutes.
Only have 10 minutes? It is also possible to get 183 miles of range in this time thanks to rapid charging. But, as with all charging times, it will depend on available set-up or charging method chosen/available.
