From one German icon to another. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has always ensured that the BMW 3 Series, mentioned previously, has not had the limelight all to itself.

Just like the BMW, this Mercedes-Benz is adored by many and is the most popular model sold by Mercedes-Benz. Again, available in multiple body styles, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate offers enhanced practicality and space, whilst keeping the all-important desirability the Mercedes-Benz brand offers.

So it turns out German car manufacturers know how to build a successful estate car, although the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is not really your run-of-the-mill estate car. Just like the Jaguar, it's more of a cooler shooting-brake estate, but an estate no less. Although Sport Turismo is the Porsche way to describe it. Yet another cool name.

Being a Porsche, the quality is nothing short of superb and you get more space than that of the standard Panamera. However, being a Porsche, you can guarantee performance is on another level, and there is even a hybrid version available too.

Build quality and technology is superb, and the comfort is ultra-impressive, being able to cover great distances with ease. Of course, depending on specification, it is by far the most expensive car in this list, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
