Introducing the new BMW M8 Competition, updated for 2022. Available in Coupé, Gran Coupé and Convertible bodystyles, the M8 competition amounts to the perfect mix of luxury and race track character, encapsulated in another iconic BMW M car.
Carrying on from the 2019 model, this sharper, enhanced M8 Competition does not upset the blend too much. New 20-inch wheels and optional 'Shadow Line' exterior styling sets apart this new version, along with a portfolio of eye-catching new colours to really set off the swooping sleek silhouette.
Frozen Deep Green metallic, Isle of Man Green metallic and Frozen Tanzanite Blue are joined by multiple grey paint finishes including Brooklyn Grey metallic, Frozen Deep Grey metallic, Frozen Pure Grey metallic and Skyscrape Grey metallic.

Engines and Performance
In true BMW M car fashion, the new BMW M8 Competition Coupé, Convertible and Gran Coupé come with breathtaking performance as standard.
Each bodystyle is equipped with a TwinPower Turbo V8 that delivers 616bhp, harnessed by intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive. This ensures that the BMW M8 Competition and BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.2 seconds, whilst the BMW M8 Competition Cabriolet takes just 3.3 seconds.
No matter which bodystyle you opt for, extraordinary performance and the nature of each version of the M8 Competition ensures this is another high performing M car, whilst being an excellent grand tourer too.
Chassis and Handling
With lowered M car suspension, a stiffer chassis and a driving experience which offers the legendary M car dynamics BMW is famous for, each variant of the BMW M8 Competition is another supremely exciting addition to the iconic BMW M range.
As well as Coupé, updated Convertible and Gran Coupé bodystyles are available too. The Convertible offers the gorgeous M8 Competition lines with the added benefit of open-top motoring. A crisp fully-digital instrument display along with a striking infotainment screen, which has been increased from 10.25 to 12.3 inches, ensure the M8 Competition Coupé, Convertible and Gran Coupé are as state-of-the-art as they can get.
More space is utilised in the M8 Competition Gran Coupé, whereas the Convertible takes space from the boot to ensure its roof can retract when not in use.
