The EU has developed a new test to measure fuel consumption and CO2 figures called the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). Official fuel consumption in mpg for the BMW range which includes the BMW 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, 8 Series, Z4, X Series & M Series range is between 20.8 mpg and 235.4 mpg and CO2 emission figures range between 30g/km and 308g/km. Official consumption (combined) for the BMW i Series range is between 2.6 mi/kWh and 4.1 mi/kWh. Values are provided for comparison only, to the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO2 values are given as ranges and do not relate to an individual car or constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO2 values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather, and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO2 emissions of a car. Figures for battery electric vehicles were obtained after the battery had been fully charged. Battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. Figures quoted are subject to change due to ongoing approvals/changes and range figures may include options not available in the UK.
