The New Porsche Cayenne Coupe

Shaped by performance. Introducing a brand-new model in the Porsche Cayenne line-up; the new Cayenne Coupé. With a lower rear-end roof line the Cayenne Coupé features a more performance orientated exterior, with not one, but two rear-spoilers. These are of course part of the incredible active aero, in which the Cayenne Coupé offers for ultimate aerodynamics. A more steeply raked windscreen, new rear doors and wider rear-wheel arches to all combine to make sure this svelte Cayenne also looks more prominent. This is a Porsche after all.

And make no mistake, just because the practical Cayenne has been given a more sports focused exterior, this doesn't mean that the Cayenne Coupé suffers in the practicality stakes. This is thanks to ingenious details such as ensuring rear passenger comfort and space isn't affected, by lowering the rear seats 30mm. The boot also features 625-litres of space, meaning although this is a much sleeker take on the Cayenne, you still get much more space than the average family car.

Performance

From launch, the Cayenne Coupé is available in two variants with two petrol engines offering superb levels of performance. The standard Porsche Cayenne Coupé comes with a 340 hp, 3-litre V6 engine. This ensures acceleration from 0-62 mph in just 6 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package, and will go onto reach a top speed of 150 mph. And as with many Porsche models, the legendary Turbo name is also available within the range, in the form of the Porsche Cayenne Coupé Turbo. This particular model features 550 hp which drops the 0-62 mph time to a mere 3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package. The Porsche Cayenne Coupé Turbo will go onto reach a top speed of 177 mph too.

With such a large vehicle, the Porsche Cayenne Coupé comes as standard with an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, for ultra-smooth gear changes.
