The New SVA Range Rover Velar - Refined Power

Receiving a heavy dose of performance alongside unparalleled luxury and an even broader level of exclusivity, the Range Rover Velar is being introduced as a limited SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition.
Designed from the ground-up to be the apogee of the Velar line-up, the current World Design Car of the Year has been developed by Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO). Among a wide range of improvements throughout the car, the most noticeable is the inclusion of a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol engine that produces a mouth-watering 550bhp.

The powerful new Velar distinguishes itself from the rest with a variety of visual enhancements and unique trims, complementing the already stunning exterior design that helped the Velar win World Design Car of the Year.
The new front bumper features much larger air intakes that help to feed the monster that sits under the bonnet, while simultaneously keeping the 4-piston brake set-up cool under hard and consistent braking. A new grille and lower side mouldings combine with a revised rear bumper featuring integrated quad exhaust finishers.
The SVAutobiograhphy Velar Dynamic Edition is also the only Velar that is available in the gorgeous Satin Byron Blue, a metallic paint taken from SVO's premium palette range. The colours available are beautifully complemented by distinctive forged aluminium wheels, which provide another clue to the car's enhanced performance.

The twin-stitched and quilted Windsor leather is unique to the SVA Velar an is available in four different colour combinations (Ebony, Cirrus, Vintage Tan and Pimento). The leather covers 20-way adjustable heated and cooled front seats that boast massage functions.
Beyond the unique sports steering wheel that features a contoured rim and aluminium gearshift paddles, you will find a contemporary knurled finish on the rotary gear selector and control dials for the stunning Touch Pro Duo infotainment system.

Although the levels of refinement and luxury are unprecedented, the Range Range Rover SVAutobiography boasts utter savagery that can only be delivered in the form of a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol engine that produces a monstrous 550bhp. Despite the size and weight, the engine will propel the Velar from a standstill to 62mph in just 4.3 seconds, while going on to reach a top speed of 170mph.

The SVO engineers have focused on increasing the capability of the Velar while providing new levels of performance. The SVA Velar benefits from Land Rover's incomparable knowledge of off-roading by utilising their all-terrain technology that can adapt the car's set-up to the surface you are driving on.
To ensure the four-wheel drive system could handle the power and torque of the 5.0-litre V8 engine, SVO engineers uprated the transfer box and extensively calibrated the advanced Intelligent Driveline Dynamics to ensure it would distribute the power effectively and efficiently. Engineers at Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations spent 63,900 hours fine-tuning the unique calibration to optimise the ride, handling and responsiveness.
Owners will still be able to benefit from Land Rover's sensational Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, which is razor sharp to react to inputs.
