Wensley Fold Primary School have been gearing up for the upcoming football World Cup and teachers at the academy came up with the idea of implementing cultural themed activities for each of the countries partaking in the competition.

Each class had to pick two teams and research each country’s culture and what they’re famous for. One of the Year 6 classes was given Germany as one of their countries, and after discovering that famous automotive brand Porsche originated from there, decided to get in touch with their local retailer.

Porsche Centre Bolton took full advantage of this opportunity and visited the school with a Porsche 718 Cayman GTS and a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS - displaying German motoring at its finest. It was a very exciting and memorable occurrence and the students enjoyed getting up close to the cars and learning about them.

Steve Webb, Centre Principal at Porsche Centre Bolton, commented:

“We were thrilled to be able to help one of the region’s primary schools with their project and get the younger generation excited about Porsche.
“Our team enjoyed visiting Wensley Fold Primary School and we wish the pupils the best of luck with their studies, leading up to the summer holidays.”
