Stratstone Club at the Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) is a blockbuster moment in the automotive calendar every year. The most daring, advanced and exclusive models from all of the largest manufacturers in the world such as Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin were all on show in this glamorous celebration of everything that's new in the global automotive space.

For the 2019 edition, Stratstone Club members were invited to take in all the sights and sounds on a two-day trip.

The Geneva Motor Show Experience

GIMS 2019 featured an incredible array of over 900 cars - more than 150 of which were global or European premieres - so there was plenty of automotive brilliance to take in during the course of our visit.

If the cars weren't enough - and they definitely were - there was a variety of interactive displays, experiences and refreshment outlets to enjoy.

2019 Headliners

Aston Martin were keen to make an impression with a trio of ultra-exclusive hypercars on display. The Vanquish Vision, Valhalla and 1,160bhp Valkyrie were all showcased alongside the Lagonda All-Terrain EV Concept - a momentous landmark in Aston Martin's illustrious history.

On the Porsche stand we spotted the brand-new 992 Cabriolet as well as the new 718 Cayman and Boxster T - stripped-back driver-focused versions of Porsche's mid-engined two-seat sportscars.

More stunning design was to be found on the Mercedes-Benz stage, who were displaying the CLA Shooting Brake for the first time as well as the Concept EQV, offering a glimpse into the world of luxury travel in an increasingly electric-focused world.

An Extraordinary Event

In truth, there's too much to talk about when it comes to the Geneva Motor Show. It's certainly an event worth experiencing first-hand.
