The New Vantage Launch at Aston Martin Wilmslow

21st Feb 2018

Aston Martin Wilmslow recently held a special event to showcase the new generation Aston Martin Vantage, which has been branded as a superior supersports car that will set that standard for others in its market. Flaunting a powerful 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and an incredible approach to design, the new model by the prestige brand left guests in awe.

The preview event which was held at Stock Farm, Cheshire, a picturesque location for the glamourous occasion, welcomed local automotive influencers and fanatics, alongside several celebrities.

The Apprentice star, Jade English, was in attendance, together with footballer-turned car businessman, Marlon Harewood. Guests were treated to champagne and street food, supplied by two local businesses, Flaming Gourmand and Drunken Pug.

An extra treat was offered to guests, as being showcased alongside the remarkable Aston Martin Vantage, was WEC Vantage Racing Motorcar #95, one of the high-performing supercars which made up the Le Mans 24 winning trio.

The GTE is a fitting replacement for the 2008 model, and is a true contender for the 2018 FIA World Endurance Championship title, generating 503 horsepower and achieving an impressive sprint of 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds.

As well as providing guests with the opportunity to get up close and personal with the new Vantage and experience the unique craftmanship and innovative technology it flaunts, attendees were able to get creative and design their own Aston Martin model on the interactive Vantage configurator.

There was also a chance for guests to take advantage of interactive VR headsets which allowed them to virtually experience the Vantage and get a taste for what it is like in action. A preview video of the Vantage and a talk from Aston Martin Wilmslow's Head of Business, Nik Boxall, also contributed to the evening.

We are pleased to say that the fantastic event - which gave guests the opportunity to be one of the first to see the Vantage up close as well as unite Aston Martin enthusiasts and owners alike - was a huge success.

Mr Boxall said of the evening:

"We are delighted with the comments about the new Vantage and we hope everyone enjoyed the backdrop of Stock Farm.

I would like to thank everyone who attended and made the evening a great occasion. We look forward to welcoming enquiries on new Aston Martins and welcoming customers to our Wilmslow showroom."
