Introducing the Lotus Emeya

Design and Practicality

Following into Eletre footsteps, the Emeya also include an active aero front grille that can open and close multiple diamond-shaped apertures to admit cooling air.

The cabin is spacious, capable of fitting comfortably up to five people, and it has a 12-way electrically adjustable front seats. The boot is quite roomy being able to accommodate 426 litres in the back that can be extended when the rear row of the vehicle is put down, the storage space expands to 509 litres.

If more storage is needed, you can find a front boot (also known as frunk) under the bonnet of the vehicle.

With comfort at its priority, this vehicle is equipped with massage seats, for all occupants, that can be controlled for their five massage models at three different intensity levels.

Technology and Safety

Equipped with excellent onboard technology, the Emeya has the ideal features for comfortable and entertained short and long distance journeys. Including integrated road noise cancellation and the better to enjoy the high-end KEF Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound system.

The 15.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system controls the EV Routing, EV Range Assistant and Predictive Routing navigation, and there are separate additional digital displays for the driver and front seat passenger.

With safety as a priority, Lotus included several features as standard to guarantee driver and passengers well-being at all times. Some of the features include, but are not limited to:

Engines and Performance

Available in two powertrains, the electric motors power Emeya’s four-wheels via a two-speed transmission. The base models have a single-speed transmission, a power output of 594bhp, and can reach an acceleration of 62mph from resting in only 4.2 seconds.

The motor used in the top of the range is more efficient and delivers better performance. It develops an impressive 892bhp with up to 726lb ft of instant torque. An acceleration that goes from 0 to 62mph in less than 2.8 seconds, making it one of the most powerful four-door GTs in the world.

With a varying range that can reach up to 379 miles, the Emeya should have enough battery to accommodate a busy schedule of daily affairs with ease.

Charging

Quickly to charge, the Emeya can add 93 miles of range in five minutes when using a 350kW DC charger.

In the regular 102kWh version, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent within only 18 minutes.
