Material choice is superb and the digital instrument cluster and infotainment display are beautifully presented and cling on to a more traditional approach, rather than that of the elongated 'iPad' style you see in many cars of this era.

The instrument binnacle is still in a cove, and the infotainment screen is in the centre of the dash, rather than on it, so as not to stick out and look clutter. It suits the suit-like style of the S8 perfectly.

Safety kit is excellent, but some items were options, but buying used you should find S8 models with head-up display, semi-automatic parking assist, Night vision and LED headlights enhancing safety.

Is the Audi S8 right for me?

If you want a limousine-like performance car, that is subtle, but can also surprise, then a used Audi S8 is a fine choice.
