Introducing the BMW M3
In 1988 BMW M launched the E30 M3, and the rest is history. BMW M had created a legend, a saloon car that dominated on the race track and dominated the showroom stakes selling in huge numbers to car enthusiasts and BMW customers all over the world.
Today, the BMW M3 has been enhanced with more power, poise, class and technology. The race track-inspired styling touches are backed up by a powerful M TwinPower Turbo engine that propels the car from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
What has always set the M3 apart from other fast cars is the practicality element. Not only will the acceleration pin you to your seat, but with four doors and a large boot, this is a performance car that can be enjoyed every single day.
After the birth of the M4, all BMW M3 models now feature 4-doors. Keeping in tune with the usual M car mantra, the M3 looks like a more aggressive and performance orientated 3 Series, which of course, it is.
The wider stance, quad exhaust tips and bonnet bulge all provide not-so-subtle hints as to the car's capabilities. Other racing-inspired design cues include the M diffuser and rear spoiler, which finish the rear end of the car off nicely.
A choice 18 or 19-inch wheels ensure you're looking at a true motorsport inspired, range-topping legend.
Interior and Technology
Starting life as a 3 Series BMW, the interior is superb and offers plenty of space and practicality, with premium soft-touch materials everywhere you look.
The superb infotainment system is accessible via BMW's commonplace iDrive controller which is mounted on the centre console, allowing you to control the navigation and multimedia settings with ease.
BMW Connected + and BMW Head-up Display are functions that ensure you always remain connected and informed when driving.
Other features such as BMW M Laptimer and GoPro app allow you to record your driving data and share it with the world via social media.
