BMW Proactive Care
BMW Proactive Care ensures you will receive proactive, individual support if your BMW were to encounter a fault, require a service, break down or have an accident.
It does this via a dedicated BMW ConnectedDrive account. This is done in the My BMW app or the My BMW portal.
It is a proactive way to stay ahead of anything untoward with your BMW, or to give a gentle reminder to ensure BMW ownership can run as smoothly as possible.
Requirements
To ensure BMW Proactive Care can benefit your BMW ownership experience, you wil need the following:
- A BMW ConnectedDrive account for your BMW
- A BMW assigned to your BMW ID - via My BMW app or in the My BMW portal
- Personal data registered in your BMW ID - current phone number, email address and your preferred BMW Service partner - e.g. Stratstone BMW Chesterfield
How it Works
BMW Proactive Care works via sensors in your BMW, that detect service requirements, or possible faults that are at an early stage - which are then transmitted to BMW. Via the My BMW app, BMW will then contact you through the app, email, or in urgent cases you will receive a phone call.
Example scenarios could see you forget your routine BMW Service, so BMW will remind you with a notification on the My BMW app. If you were to break down, or are involved in an accident, you will receive expert support from the BMW Roadside Assistance team.
