Introducing the new 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA

Mercedes-Benz CLA Aerial View in Blue

New for 2025, the Mercedes-Benz CLA returns, for its third generation, and promises to be the most efficient, emotional, intuitive, and intelligent Mercedes-Benz ever.

The new CLA will do this by offering buyers enhanced space, better refinement, increased comfort, more intelligence, and higher efficiency when compared to its predecessor.

It is quite simply the cleverest car Mercedes-Benz has ever made, and is the first model in a brand-new line of vehicles. It will also be the first time the CLA will be available as an electric vehicle, whilst also offering hybrid internal combustion versions, too.

Design and Practicality

The CLA's design is instantly recognisable, being a fine enhancement of the second generation. It does not feature an unnecessary redesign; it merely takes the familiar silhouette and enhances it.

Short overhangs, a long wheelbase and dynamic proportions ensure the new CLA is a sophisticated and handsome showcase, which is further increased with the Radiant 'Face' panel with illuminated Mercedes-Benz pattern - for the first time ever on a Mercedes-Benz production vehicle. This means 142 individually animated LED chrome-effect stars present the distinctive brand signature.

Another neat touch is the Mercedes-Benz star headlights and taillights, which use 'MULTIBEAM' LEDs. A panoramic roof comes as standard too.

As for practicality, there is a frunk - the first Mercedes-Benz in ninety years to do so, offering 101 litres of space, complementing the 405-litre boot at the rear.

Technology and Safety

Mercedes-Benz CLA Interior

MB.OS is a new operating system for the all-new CLA, which uses chip-to-cloud architecture, meaning the car connects the powertrain, infotainment and various other systems whilst staying up-to-date via over-the-air updates. Interactions are also more intuitive thanks to A.I, where the car will respond emphatically to your voice.

The all-new CLA will also feature MBUK Superscreen, which will be available to specify in certain CLA models, giving an ultra-wide widescreen experience for the digital instruments and infotainment. This comprises a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, 14-inch central display, and a 14-inch display for the front seat passenger.

MB.DRIVE ensures enhanced safety, with a new standard for state-of-the-art driving assistance and parking safety. This system essentially helps the new CLA prevent a multitude of accidents and makes driving easier, and of course safer.

Engines and Performance

For the first time ever, the Mercedes-Benz CLA will be available in a fully electric version from launch, along with mild-hybrid petrol engines joining the range later, for those who prefer internal combustion, with a touch of electric technology.

New CLA will use an 85kWh battery, which offers between 479 and 492 miles of range, depending on variant.

These produce 238bhp and 349bhp, meaning the CLA can go from 0 to 62mph in 6.7 and 4.9 seconds, respectively.

There will also be hybrid versions joining the range, offering a 1.5-litre engine. The range will also offer front-wheel drive, and 4MATIC all-wheel drive options.

Coming Soon: 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLA

The Mercedes-Benz CLA is back, supporting the latest technology and featuring a fully electric powertrain, along with familiar internal combustion options, too.
