Stratstone Porsche Centre Track Day at Trac Môn Anglesey Circuit
17th Sep 2021
Our Porsche Centres from Stockport, Bolton, Wilmslow, and Wolverhampton were joined by customers at the iconic coastal circuit of Anglesey Trac Môn on the 7th of September. With not a single cloud in the sky, the weather could not have been any better for a day of testing the limits of a variety of Porsche models from across the years.
Customers arrived at the circuit at around 8:30am and enjoyed socialising over breakfast, discussing who would be the fastest out on track. Drivers were then called to a safety briefing delivered by the track marshals to ensure they knew the rules and regulations of a track day and to guarantee the safety of everybody in attendance.
With the briefing complete, it was time to hit the track. A plethora of beautifully different Porsche models, including 911 GT3 RS', 718 Cayman GT4s and our very own Porsche centre Restoracing 986 Boxster S', began lining up in the pit lane for the first session of the day. After a few sighting laps behind the safety car, customers were released to enjoy what their Porsches had to offer around the International GP variation of Trac Môn.
Before we knew it, it was time to give the safety marshals a well-earned break and time for lunch. A wonderfully-cooked barbeque was enjoyed by all, whilst ice creams and refreshments were provided to help cool drivers off before the next session.
This time around, the famous coastal variation of Trac Môn would be used. Drivers and passengers enjoyed the scenic views across the bay to Snowdonia before being met by the adrenaline-boosting, iconic downhill 'corkscrew'. After approximately three hours on track, it was time to bring the cars in and begin packing up for the drive home.
The weather was splendid and a wide variety of exquisite cars were on display, being driven how they were designed to be. It also provided our associates at Stratstone with an opportunity to build better relationships with our customers by socialising with them in a more casual manner.
Overall, it was a successful and enjoyable day. With such stunning scenery and beautiful cars, it proved to be another successful Stratstone hosted track day.
