Introducing the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupé

Design and Practicality
Adding a sloping roofline to an SUV was always going to sacrifice a bit of headroom and boot space, but we are pleased to say that adults will have absolutely no issue getting comfortable in the front or back. Anyone who climbs behind the wheel will easily be able to find their ideal driving position because of the sheer amount of adjustability that is available.
Looking inside the GLE Coupé, you'll find a lavish interior, with the option of Black Leather as standard, or customise with the choice of Bahia Brown Leather or Macchiato Beige Leather. Standard on all Coupé models are 22-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light alloy wheels in gloss black for a rugged and assertive look.
Boot space is still plenty big enough for cross-country adventures with the family, with 655 litres at your disposal. Fold the rear seats down and there is a massive 1,790 litres ready for use.
Technology and Safety
Every GLE Coupé model comes with the latest version of the intuitive MBUX, which is the company's latest infotainment system and offers an innovative way of communicating with the car, featuring voice controlled update capabilities and ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice assistant.
The driver and passengers will be able to enjoy excellent connectivity, with the likes of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto featuring as standard. There are also USB ports (type C) in the centre console, while wireless charging is an essential feature in today's society.

Engines and Performance
Mercedes-Benz has kept it refreshingly simple with the GLE Coupé, because there is just the one diesel engine, mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, or one of the two scintillating AMG models to choose from.
The sole diesel is a 3.0-litre inline 6-cylinder unit that produces a very healthy 325bhp. Combined with the standard-fit 9-speed automatic gearbox and the innovative 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, this model can reach 62mph from zero in just 5.7 seconds. Fuel economy is respectable too, with 33.6 mpg achievable on a combined cycle.
Courtesy of Mercedes-AMG, the GLE 53 4MATIC+ utilises a 3.0-litre petrol engine that produces 429bhp. Even more impressive is the GLE 63 S 4MATIC+, powered by a mighty potent 4.0-litre petrol engine delivering a staggering 604bhp and catapulting the Coupé-SUV to 62mph from a standstill in a ridiculously quick 3.0 seconds.
