Engines and Performance
There is a wide choice of engines in the Mercedes-Benz GLE range; efficient diesel and punchy petrol units are also joined by mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid
A 2.0-litre diesel with 242bhp is joined by a larger 3.0-litre diesel with either 268bhp or 325bhp. Despite the large GLE profile, these versions can return between 33.6 and 40.4mpg, with 0 to 62mph occurring in as little as 5.7 seconds.
The petrol version matches the speediest diesel version in completing the 0 to 62mph time in 5.7 seconds, made possible from its 3.0-litre, 362bhp engine.
