The EU has developed a new test to measure fuel consumption and CO₂ figures called the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). Official fuel consumption in mpg for the BMW range which includes the BMW 1 Series is between 34.4 mpg and 53.3 mpg and CO₂ emission figures range between 120g/km and 188g/km. Values are provided for comparison only, to the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges and do not relate to an individual car or constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values.
