Stratstone Porsche Takes Part in Charged with Experience

Over the past few weeks, associates from our Stratstone Porsche Centres across the UK have been participating in the Charged with Experience Programme to better enhance their understanding of the Porsche all-electric range.

As part of the programme, associates from various departments were given the opportunity to live with either the fully-electric Macan 4 or Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, and set about testing the limitations and features of the vehicles with real-world challenges. The programme is set to continue too, with further associates from our Parts and Service Centre departments gearing up to take the wheel.

Charging is often one of the primary sources of questions regarding electric models, with many common misconceptions being front-of-mind, so our teams were keen to gain some hands-on experience with the process. After a short learning period, our team quickly became familiar with the equipment and tools required to charge a Porsche EV, later realising just how effortless the process can be.

From finding local chargers to understanding range planning and charging speeds, public charging, rapid charging and overnight top-ups quickly became second nature, allowing our team to enjoy their day-to-day lives with minimal friction.

The models were put to the test in a variety of conditions, too. Whether it was a short trip around town or a longer trip further afield, both models exceeded expectations, delivering both comfort and performance. An inner-city trip to London, a foray across the UK's midlands and a weekend supporting our Porsche Motorsports Team at the fabled Brands Hatch race circuit were just a few highlights from our extensive testing.

One of the biggest benefits of the Charged with Experience programme has been the ability for our associates to gain genuine, practical insight into EV ownership. Experiencing everything first-hand has enabled them to better understand the questions and concerns customers may have, and answer them with confidence and clarity.
