Introducing the new MINI Aceman
Introducing for the first ever all-electric MINI Aceman, a chunky compact crossover that slots in between the MINI Cooper Hatch and MINI Countryman SUV.
The Aceman also happens to be the first ever MINI to be designed as a sole electric vehicle.
With a striking design, plenty of technology and typical MINI customisation available, the MINI Aceman is set to be another popular model in the iconic MINI range.
Design and Practicality
The all-electric MINI Aceman fuses distinctive design, with assured MINI details, complemented by decent practicality.Clean lines help deliver the refreshed MINI design language, which help ensure the Aceman fits perfectly into the MINI line up.
Charismatic simplicity is the mantra of the new design. Neat details such alloy wheels available in 17 to 19-inch, flush door handles, three optional light signatures and an octagonal grille draw positive attention to the Aceman.
There is also the possibility to give your Aceman a base trim, which adapts the overall style. These take after the rest of the MINI range, in which you can choose 'Classic', 'Exclusive' or 'Sport'.
Being a crossover, the Aceman is practical too. There are five doors as standard, and the boot offers 300 litres of space, which increases to 1,005 litres with the rears seats folded.

Engines and Performance
Being the first sole electric MINI, the Aceman does not use an engine, instead there is two variants available in the form of the Aceman E and the Aceman SE.
These both use an electric motor and battery set-up and offer varying levels of performance and range.
MINI Aceman E uses a 42.5kWh battery and front-mounted electric motor which produce 181bhp, enabling 0 to 62mph in 7.9 seconds and a range of between 185 and 193 miles.
The MINI Aceman SE gets a larger 54.2kWh battery and a more powerful 215bhp electric motor, reducing the 0 to 62mph time to 7.1 seconds, whilst also increasing range to between 237 and 252 miles.
Charging
Charging will vary depending on your personal set-up or charging method.
But, for reference 70 kw DC charging from 10 to 80 percent can take around 28/31 minutes, whilst 11 kw AC charging from home can take around 4.25/5.75 hours depending on model chosen.
